About
This was a semester long research project for my senior capstone.
I created an archive called Esoterica with the goal of showcasing
the ways that overlooked aspects of design can still be worthwhile
to analyze. The first collection is called The Perfect Match,
consisting of vintage matchbooks sourced from the Las Vegas
valley.
The digital archive is a website hosted on Omeka, a
Dublin Core compliant CMS for archives. Rather than opting for a
web hosting service, the website is hosted on a VPS that I
installed a LAMP stack on with some help. The booklet covers and
posters are risograph prints designed and printed by myself.
